Memorial Verses for a Mother

M1
Two bright eyes, a tender smile, a loving heart that knew no guile. Deep trust in God that all was right, her joy to make some other bright. If sick or suffering one she knew some gentle act of love she’d do. No thought of self but of the other… I know He said: “Well done dear Mother”

.

If roses grow in Heaven Lord please pick a bunch for me. Place them in my mother’s arms and tell her they’re from me. Tell her I love her and miss her and when she turns to smile place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her for awhile..

.

 M3
Things I feel most deeply are the hardest things to say dearest Mum, I loved you in a very special way. If I could have one lifetime wish, one dream that could come true, I’d pray to God with all my heart… for yesterday and You.

.

 M4
In all the world we shall not find a heart so wonderfully kind. So soft a voice, so sweet a smile, Inspiration worthwhile. A sympathy so sure, so deep a love, so beautiful to keep.

.

Because in her life she was saintly, because in her heart she was pure. Her reward were sure must be in Heaven and our grief we must try to endure.

.

 M6
Till Roses lose their petals, till the heather has lost it’s dew. Till the end of time, dear Mother, we will remember you.

I have lost my soul’s companion, a life linked with my own and day by day I miss her more, as I walk through life alone.

.

M8
Gentle, unselfish, a friend ever true, My best possession Mother… was You.

 M9
Mum holds her children’s hands for a while,  their hearts forever.
